Height: 13.4 in · 34 cm
Shapes that don't belong to the same family, stacked on one axis: a bulb, a blue spire, then a sun with six arms curling out of it like flames, each one drawn to a point and tipped in gold. Below it a banded bell, heavy enough to pull the eye down the whole length. Nothing here was drawn in advance — the shapes accumulated at the furnace, one onto the next, and the gold at every joint is what makes them agree.
Edition of 1
An Edition of 1 is free-blown — shaped at the furnace without a mould, in the largest and most demanding forms we produce, then hand-painted over the days that follow.
When a piece is finished, the design is closed. Not reissued, not scaled down, not brought back in another colour.
Every one is signed and arrives with a certificate of authenticity — dated, named, and signed by hand.
The Hand Behind Them
Daniel Dębiński founded this atelier and still works at its furnace. Nothing leaves it that he has not shaped, painted or passed. For much of the past 30 years he made ornaments for better-known names than his own — designed elsewhere, sold under someone else's label.
An Edition of 1 is what he makes when nothing constrains him. No brief, no drawing, no design to match. He blows it, he sets the painting, he signs it.
Shipping
Every order ships directly from our workshop in Poland, individually wrapped and double-boxed for the journey.
Duties included. We prepay all US import duties. Nothing is collected on delivery.
Delivery: 1–2 weeks. A few days for careful packing at our atelier, then 3–7 days in transit, fully tracked door to door.
Shipping — we ship with FedEx and UPS. FedEx rates:
- Free on orders over $300
- $9 on orders $150–$299
- $29 on orders under $150
UPS is available at checkout at a higher rate.
If it arrives damaged
Photograph it and write to us. There is nothing to prove and no claim to file.
With an Edition of 1 there is no replacement waiting on a shelf, so you decide what happens next. We refund you in full — or, if you would rather have the piece, our master glassmaker will make it again. It will be as close as his hands can bring it, but it will not be identical; that is the nature of work made without a mould.
Two of these never exist at the same time. A piece made to replace one that was lost is not a second edition — it takes the place of the first.
Returns
30 days to change your mind. If a piece is not right, email hello@blubom.com within 30 days of delivery and we will arrange the return. It needs to come back unused and in its original packaging.
Return shipping is on you, unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong piece. In those cases we cover everything. Refunds go back to the original payment method once the return reaches us.
Personalized pieces are made to order and cannot be returned.
