Sharp diamonds in black and gold, softened by pastel. It is a formal pattern with a sense of humour, which is why it has stayed in fashion for three centuries.

Frequently asked questions

How are Blubom ornaments made?

It starts as a glass tube. Heated until it softens, then blown into shape: some forms into a mould, the most complex ones shaped free-hand on the pipe. One piece at a time, in a single workshop in Poland. What comes out is silvered from the inside, lacquered, and left to cure before anyone picks up a brush.

The painting is freehand. Brush by brush, layer over layer, each colour left to dry before the next goes down. No transfers, no printing, no stencils standing in for a steady hand.

No two are identical. A line sits a fraction differently, a highlight catches the light its own way. Small things, but they are the difference between an object that was manufactured and one that was made.

How long does delivery take, and what does shipping cost?

Every order ships directly from our workshop in Poland, individually wrapped and double-boxed for the journey.

Duties included. We prepay all US import duties. Nothing is collected on delivery.

Delivery: 1–2 weeks. A few days for careful packing at our atelier, then 3–7 days in transit, fully tracked door to door.

Shipping — we ship with FedEx and UPS. FedEx rates:

  • Free on orders over $300
  • $9 on orders $150–$299
  • $29 on orders under $150

UPS is available at checkout at a higher rate.

What if my ornament arrives broken?

Every order is covered by the Blubom Delivery Guarantee — if a piece arrives damaged, we send a replacement at no cost to you. We take responsibility for the whole journey, not just the part up to the courier.

Email us at hello@blubom.com within a week of delivery, with your order number and a photo. That is all we need to get a replacement moving.

One small thing: hold on to the box and the padding until your replacement is on its way. We sometimes need it for the carrier claim.

Can I return an ornament?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery. Email hello@blubom.com and we will arrange the return. The piece needs to come back unused and in its original packaging.

Return shipping is on you, unless the item arrived damaged or we sent the wrong piece. In those cases we cover everything. Refunds go back to the original payment method once the return reaches us.

Personalized pieces cannot be returned — they are made to order.
